Today marks the infamous, “Ides of March” which, unless you are Julius Caesar, is usually just another day. But is it?
March 15th is a good milestone for most of us in business. It is the day that corporate taxes are due. This means we’ve all had a chance to sit back and fully analyze what went well, what didn’t, where our profit centers are and where our fiscal potholes are.
Most companies are able to do this easily during the year with the systems they have in place, but for others, it can be harder. We’ve seen that over and over as we’ve helped implement K9ERP with our channel team. As most of the small businesses are realizing, accounting software only provided them with part of the picture.
Dollars and cents are at the surface of profitability. What about time, lost sales and other opportunities for improvement? Regular accounting software cannot control workflow efficiency, sales communications nor can it allow management teams full oversight.
When we set out to develop K9ERP, we knew we wanted to make small businesses better. Let’s face it, America was built by small businesses and an overwhelming majority of today’s businesses still are just that. They deserve the tools to succeed.
